弊社代表・守屋貴行が「IVS KYOTO 2025」に登壇しました。

IVSは国内外から起業家、投資家、研究者が集結する日本有数のスタートアップカンファレンスです。今年もさまざまな領域で注目を集めるセッションが多数実施される中、守屋は「AI STAGE」にて、「AIエージェントは“友だち”？それとも“執事”？」と題した40分間のパネルディスカッションに参加しました。

近年、自律的に動くAIエージェントが急速に実用化され、私たちの生活に深く入り込んでいます。本セッションでは、AIと人間との関係性が今後どのように設計されるべきか、またその「人格」がどのように構築されるべきかについて、多角的な視点から議論が交わされました。

守屋は、AICX協会 代表理事・小澤健祐氏、Jizai株式会社 CEO・石川佑樹氏とともに登壇。Awwが取り組んできたバーチャルヒューマン開発の知見をもとに、感情的な反応やパーソナリティを持つAIが、人とのインタラクションにおいていかに関係性の深さを生み出すかについて語りました。また、機能性を追求しがちな生成AIの潮流の中で、目的に応じた「つながり」をどうデザインするかの重要性を強調しました。

セッションでは、AIと“共に生きる”未来の可能性について、聴衆と共に考察を深める機会となり、人とデジタルエージェントの関係性を再定義するきっかけとなる、有意義な時間となりました。

Our CEO Takayuki Moriya joined the stage at IVS KYOTO 2025 — one of Japan’s leading startup and tech conferences held at Miyakomesse in Kyoto.

As one of the speakers on the AI Stage, Moriya took part in a compelling 40-minute panel discussion titled “Are AI Agents Companions or Tools? Designing Personality and Relationships Between AI and Humans.”

As autonomous AI agents become more prevalent in our everyday lives, the conversation centered on how we define and design our relationship with them. Is the future of AI companionship driven by warmth and emotional resonance, or by hyper-efficiency and task optimization?

Moriya, alongside panelists from AICX Association and Jizai Inc., explored this critical question by sharing insights into the design of AI “personality”—how emotional interfaces and responsive character traits can profoundly shape how humans interact with intelligent systems. Drawing on Aww’s pioneering work in virtual human development, Moriya emphasized the importance of crafting relational depth in AI, especially at a time when generative technology often prioritizes functionality over connection.

The session sparked thoughtful dialogue on what it means to “coexist” with AI, and how designing intentional relationships between people and digital agents may define the next frontier of human experience.
